Selvage Denim Pants

Nanamica Selvage Denim Pants sit in that space between classic workwear and quiet technical design. The cut is wide and straight with a familiar five-pocket layout, but the fabric does most of the talking. Indigo CCY Denim in a deep black tone is woven from an 80/20 cotton–polyester blend, where a recycled polyester core is wrapped in cotton for a natural hand and added strength. The weft uses a thick, vintage-inspired nep yarn that gives the surface a dry, textured feel with visible depth.

Rope-dyed yarns and shuttle loom weaving create a non-stretch, loosely woven selvedge denim that will soften, mold to the body and pick up clear fading, whiskers and subtle wear patterns over time. An inseam gusset is worked into the leg for easier movement without disturbing the clean, straight line, while a simple front zip keeps the construction straightforward. Finished with a one-wash treatment to take out most shrinkage from the start, this is Nanamica’s take on everyday denim that works with simple shirting, knitwear or technical outer layers.
