HOKA Mafate Speed 2 is a trail running model intended for longer distances on technical terrain. This Black/Electric Green version uses a lightweight, no-sew upper with welded overlays and an external monomesh debris screen to help keep out dirt while allowing airflow. The high, rockered CMEVA midsole incorporates HOKA’s early stage MetaRocker geometry to support continuous forward motion, while the deep Active Foot Frame and wide base hold the foot securely for a stable platform. A TPU heel counter adds structure at the rear, and a reinforced toe cap provides added coverage against rocks and roots. Underfoot, a Vibram Megagrip outsole with 5 mm lugs and deep flex grooves offers traction and flexibility on varied surfaces. Subtle branding, layered grey tones and electric green accents underline the technical character of the silhouette.
