ASICS GEL-NYC 2.0 SSHS is a low-top sneaker that connects retro running references with updated cushioning. This Sulphur/Black version uses layered mesh, suede and synthetic leather across the upper, with open mesh panels and small vents to support airflow. Black cage-like overlays stabilize the midfoot, while reflective details at the toe and heel add visibility in low light. The midsole combines rearfoot and forefoot GEL technology with FF BLAST PLUS cushioning, adapted from performance running for everyday use. A TPU TRUSSTIC system is integrated for lateral stability, supported by an angled heel and walking-focused flex grooves that guide heel-to-toe transitions.
