GEL-NYC 2.0

ASICS GEL-NYC 2.0 leans into early-2000s running culture and reworks it for the city. The Graphite Grey/Black palette keeps it understated, while layered materials give the shoe a technical edge. Breathable mesh sits underneath textured leather, suede and synthetic panels, echoing the GEL-1050 from the archive but with a sharper, more streamlined finish.

Underfoot, GEL cushioning in both heel and forefoot is combined with FF BLAST PLUS foam to keep the ride soft and light through daily wear. A TPU TRUSSTIC element on the lateral side quietly supports each step, and the angled heel with walking-specific flex grooves helps the foot roll forward in a smooth line. The rubber outsole, inspired by the GEL-LYTE DS II, is built for grip on hard city surfaces. Reflective hits on the heel and tongue logo catch the light after dark, while a hidden “The World Is Yours” message inside the tongue ties it back to the ASICS Signature Series with HSDT. Easy to pair with technical outerwear or loose trousers, it sits comfortably in a modern, functional wardrobe.
