ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 revisits the 2008 running design with updated materials and cushioning. This Black/Pure Silver version combines a black open mesh upper with layered synthetic leather and glossy overlays that add structure around the midfoot and heel. The sculpted midsole incorporates visible GEL technology in the heel and forefoot together with lightweight foam for consistent shock absorption. A Trusstic System plate is integrated into the midfoot to reduce weight and support torsional stability, while a removable OrthoLite insole contributes cushioning and breathability. Underfoot, a durable rubber outsole with a multi-directional tread pattern offers grip in everyday use, and reflective silver detailing on the stripes and overlays increases visibility in low light.
