ASICS GEL-1130 reworks a late-2000s stability running model into a straightforward lifestyle shoe. This Black/Pure Silver version uses a low-top tech-runner silhouette with an open-weave mesh upper and glossy synthetic overlays that reference the GEL-1000 series and GEL-KAYANO 14. The layered construction adds structure around the toe and midfoot, while metallic ASICS side stripes and silver heel details keep the technical expression clear. Underfoot, the model combines an EVA midsole with rearfoot GEL cushioning and a TRUSSTIC system at the midfoot for stability and impact absorption. A rubber outsole with flex grooves supports traction and natural movement, and the padded tongue and collar contribute to a cushioned step. Inside, an OrthoLite footbed and solution-dyed sockliner provide additional cushioning and reduce dye-related resource use.
